Question by whateva: How can I get my husband to not be so sensitive when I'm too tired to have sex once in a blue moon?

I have sex with my husband every day, sometimes more than once a day. I love it Yet, on the occassions when I say "no" he gets very angry. How do I deal?

I'm starting to understand why. His mother stopped having sex with his father for twenty years and they are still married. His father even recently has told him to divorce me because eventually I will become like his mother and stop having sex with him. We;ve been married for three months! I trust my husband is intelligent enough to not make a hasty generalization on such poor grounds, but sometimes hearing something over and over can be a bit influential.

I love sex. I love it every day. Sometimes, however, I am tired--- especially lately, since it's only been one month that I finished my three-month-long summer vacation and started working and going to school again. It's exhausting going from doing nothing for three months to working part time and studying full time. But he doesn't see this. When I tell him I'm tired, it is the biggest rejection I can give him. He feels unattractive and he claims Im going to deny him more and more sex as the years go by. I MEAN, I certainly do NOT want to become the type of wife that is always tired or has some excuse to not have sex. But I am not that person! I am the type that thinks sex is very important and I always try to look sexy for him and seduce him. However, with him, I cannot even rest one day from it... or it's a big fight because he feels rejected. Then he says things like, "Okay, if you're going to be denying me sex then I don't want to be with you." All for skipping one day! Or maybe doing it once a day instead of two or three times a day.

There have been times when he has denied me and I don't get so offended. I understand that he's tired or he's playing a video game. I am able to rationalize. He says it's because I'm a woman but that it's different for a man. I don't know. How do I make him see that just because I may want to once or twice a week prefer to catch up on sleep than have sex doesn't mean I am becoming his mother???????? HELP! This hurts because I know couples don't have sex every day for the rest of their lives. What's going to happen when we hit slumps or get sick? Seriously... as much as I love sex, I think it is a bit unrealistic to expect it every day until we die! Help, help... I need outside insight. (He hates it when I ask questions on forums... he'd be so angry if he knew I'm doing this... but I need insight!)
