Found at the thrift store for , it is autographed by Jason Cohen and Milk and Cheese creator Evan Dorkin. Both autographs are dated 12/09/1994. It has a quote from Penn Jillette on the back.

The back cover reads:
Lookit: Since when is the possibility of being less affluent than our parents a problem on the order of world hunger, the federal deficit and Courtney Love? Why are millions of college graduates working at Carl's Jr. when what they really want to do is direct? When did R.E.M. become Classic Rock? Is John Hughes our generation's Joseph L. Mankiewicz? Was the cancelation of thirtysomething directly related to the emergent popularity of Beverly Hills 90210? Is it healthy to have eight different grandparents? Is sex without a condom a revolutionary act? How did The Brady Bunch become the best the American theater has to offer? And is it possible that most people think David Copperfield is the name of a TV illusionist, and can't figure out how Charles Dickens came to write a book about him?

I have read a few chapters and despite the title that harkens back a late eighties issue of Mad Magazine it reads like a couple of hipsters who were sick of the mainstream appeal of GenX while conforming to personal ideals that in many ways were no different. But they see the irony in that and accurately predict coming trends such as the now current 80's retro chic.

Lupa in Latin means prostitute, and this is the best organised of Pompeii's many brothels, the only one designed specifically for this purpose: the others were simply single rooms, or part of the top floor of a shop. There are five rooms on the ground floor; as well as the upper floor; plus a latrine; the stone beds were covered by a mattress. Paintings depicting the different positions to be used in the erotic games decorated the lupanare. The prostitutes were slaves, usually of Greek or Oriental origin. Prices ranged from 2 to 8 as (a portion of wine cost 1) but the revenues, being earned by women without legal standing, went to the owner or manager (lenone) of the brothel. The building dates from the city's final days: in one cell, fresh plaster captured the print of a coin from 72 AD.
